Governor Mutfwang Celebrates the Legacy of Late Rev. Emmanuel Kanos, Urges Believers to Seek Divine Purpose

Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has emphasized that every human life is created to fulfill God’s desired purpose and destiny on earth. ‎The Governor made this declaration during the one-year memorial service and book launch in honour of the late Reverend Emmanuel Kanos, founder of The Parliament Church, held at the church auditorium near Lamingo Roundabout, Jos. Appeal Court Affirms Retrieval Of Over 40 Gov’t Vehicles Carted Away By Fmr. Zamfara Gov. Matawalle

 The Court of Appeal in Sokoto has upheld the Federal High Court's decision dismissing the appeal filed by former Governor,  Bello Matawalle, challenging the decision that the official vehicles he carted away after he was defeated at the 2023 General Elections were his personal property. It can be recalled that in June 2023, based on a complaint by the Zamfara State Government,  the Zamfara Police raided the residence of the former Governor Matawalle, seizing more than 40 official vehicles he and his cabinet carted away before handing over power on May 29, 2023. A statement by the Spokesperson of the Zamfara State Governor, Sulaiman Bala Idris, said that a three-member panel of the Appeal Court, in a unanimous decision by Hon. Gov. Lawal Visits More Zamfara Communities, Vows Never to Negotiate With Bandits

Governor Dauda Lawal has reassured the people of Zamfara that his administration stands firm against negotiating with bandits who are terrorizing the state. The governor, on Thursday, visited more communities that bandits recently attacked. A statement by the governor’s spokesperson, Sulaiman Bala Idris, said the communities visited are Kagara, Dan Isa, and Kasuwar Daji, all in the Kauran Namoda Local Government Area. The statement noted that the governor was on a condolence visit to affected communities to demonstrate his administration’s commitment to their security. The governor reaffirmed to the affected communities that his administration will never negotiate with bandits. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday inaugurated its 45-member National Elective Convention Zoning Committee at the party’s national headquarters, Wadata Plaza, Abuja. The committee is chaired by Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, with Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, serving as vice chairman, and Plateau State Governor, Barr.  Governor Dauda Lawal said God will expose and shame those responsible for the brutal attacks and senseless killings by bandits in Zamfara State. On Wednesday, the governor visited communities in the Kauran Namoda local government area that bandits had recently attacked. A statement by the spokesperson of the governor, Sulaiman Bala Idris, disclosed that the affected communities visited are Banga, Sakajiki, Kuryar Madaro, Maguru, and Tambarawa, all in the Kauran Namoda local government area. ...Fulfils Car Promise To Police Officer That Rejected $17,000 Bribe Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, has assured that his administration will not leave any project unfinished when he leaves office in February 2028.  Senator Diri gave the assurance on Wednesday at the 169th session of the state executive council meeting in Government House, Yenagoa. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to completion of all ongoing projects, including legacy projects that it started and those it inherited. Some of the big-ticket legacy projects include the Sagbama-Ekeremor road, which it inherited from the immediate past administration and completed it with work ongoing from Ekeremor to Agge, the ongoing Yenagoa-Oporoma-Ukubie road, and phase one of the Nembe-Brass road.
