... Relief Materials Urgently Released To Meet Needs

The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, has approved the release of additional relief materials to displaced persons of Isu community in Arochukwu Local Government Area of the State.

Governor Ikpeazu received reports on the plight of people of the community who were displaced following a boundary conflict with another community in a neighboring State and has directed that relief materials be delivered to them on or before this weekend.

The Governor also directed security agencies in the State to take necessary measures to ensure the protection of the people of the community from further attacks and displacement, pending the full resolution of the issues that led to the conflict.
