MATAWALLE TO CONSTRUCT BEST CLASS HOSPITAL IN MARADUN.

Gov. Bello Matawalle has pledged to construct the best hospital in Maradun town, headquarters of Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

The Governor made the pledge  when he paid a sympathy visit to some of his party supporters who were involved in a motor accident on their way to welcome him home, where some of them sustained severe injuries and were admitted at the hospital.

Matawalle assured of  his administration's plans to construct the best class hospital in Maradun town, in a very strategic place, that will provide best health care services to the people of the Local Government Area and beyond.

Governor Matawalle added that part of his administration's policy is to provide world class health facilities at all levels.

He said that free health care will be provided to  women and children across the State.

While sympathising with the accident victims, Governor Matawalle directed for  Immediate referral of the victims to the Federal Medical Centre, Gusau for better medical attention promising that the State Government will shoulder all the medical expenses that may be incurred.

The Governor also donated some cash to all the patients on admission in the hospital.

Conducting the Governor round the hospital, Principal Medical Officer of the hospital, Dr. Abdulrahman Salihu Gummi, informed the Governor that the hospital currently operates through four departments and needs  rehabilitation  and upgrade of some of its units.

The doctor also urged the State Government's intervention in the provision of modern hospital equipment, such as oxygen machines as well as physiotherapy and scanning machines.

He thanked the Governor for the timely visit and assured of his support and that of the staff for the success of the Governor's administration.
