Bauchi Govt. To Sensitize Citizens On All The Orders Imposed In The State


The Bauchi State Government says it will sensitize people of the state on all the orders imposed by government in an effort to ensure total compliance.

The State Commissioner of Information and Communications, Honorable Garba Dahiru made the remark while briefing Government House.
Honorable Garba Dahiru observed that, sensitizing citizens on the orders will no doubt encourage them to support authorities assigned to impose the directives.

According to him, the order on the ban of Achaba operations and non carrying passengers in any type of motorcycles is still imposed in the State.

"His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Bauchi state, Sen. Bala A. Mohammed, Kauran Bauchi has directed for the awareness of citizens on all the orders imposed in the state so as to ensure total compliance."

" All the orders are for the safety and security of our people and government will do everything possible to protect its citizens, the suspension of carrying passengers in motorcycles is to prevent further spread of coronovirus."

The Information Commissioner cautioned people of the state against violating the orders as any one found wanting will be dealt accordingly.

Delta awards N78bn contract for flyovers in Warri, Effurun

Delta State Government has approved the award of contracts worth N78 billion to Julius Berger Nigeria Limited for the construction of three flyover bridges and road expansion in the Warri/Effurun megalopolis. This was part of decisions reached at the State Executive Council meeting presided over by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Tuesday in Asaba.  Briefing journalists at the end of the Exco meeting, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works, Engr Fred Edafiogho, said approval of the contracts were aimed at solving the gridlock often experienced in the twin cities.
