His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, Governor of Bayelsa State, today in Yenagoa visited the national camp of the wrestlers preparing for the Olympics qualifiers for African countries.

All the nine wrestlers going to Tunis including veterans Odunayo Adekuoroye and  Blessing Oborodudu are African champions and the governor charged them to be worthy ambassadors of Nigeria.

"I believe you will go and qualify for the Olympics. I implore you to be of good character and be worthy ambassadors of Bayelsa and Nigeria. I was here not too long and I am here again just to motivate you. My coming will add another tonic to your preparation”, Gov. Diri stated.
