Tambuwal: COVID-19 Vaccine Efficacy Higher Than Its Risk

I have taken my first jab of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine. I appeal to the good people of Sokoto State to follow suit, especially those that are vulnerable, as prescribed by medical practitioners and the taskforce on COVID-19. 

It is very important that we always stay safe and secure. It is better to stay safe than to begin to run helter skelter looking for support and assistance. I believe prevention is better than cure.


From the statistics globally, you can see that, there are challenges. There are some countries that have actually stopped administering the vaccine, due to certain developments in the process. But, so far, if you look at the statistics, you can see that the success rate is very high. higher than the unfortunate incidents of people suffering some setbacks from the vaccine.

On that basis alone, one can say that the efficacy is higher than the risk.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families.
