Rivers State Nigeria's Cynosure For Political Leadership - Banigo

Rivers State Deputy Governor, Dr. Mrs.  Ipalibo Harry Banigo says Governor Wike’s Leadership Prowess and Political Dexterity has made Rivers State the Cynosure for Nigeria’s Political Leadership.

Dr. Banigo stated this in a statement from the Government House in Port Harcourt, on Monday, 22nd March 2021, while reacting to the seamless and successful flag-off of the PDP Local Government Elections Campaign last weekend.



The Deputy Governor described Governor Wike as a true Patriot who is passionately committed to the wellbeing of the Rivers People, noting that the Governor always shows sincerity and concern while speaking on national issues whenever the need arises. 


Dr. Banigo who applauded the leadership and stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party for their massive mobilisation and loyalty to the Wike led Administration, noted that their support had enabled the Governor to achieve rapid infrastructural development of the State. 


According to the Deputy Governor the stage is now set for quality representation in the upcoming April 17 polls in view of the competence of the PDP flag bearers.

She called on the Youths in particular to shun all acts inimical to the peace and progress of the State in the course of their campaigns, adding that “all hands must be on deck to salvage Nigeria from its abysmal security challenges, lack of transparency, nepotism and leadership ineptitude”.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families.
