AFCON 2023: Gov. Diri congratulates Super Eagles for qualifying for final

Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has congratulated the Super Eagles of Nigeria for qualifying for the final in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Côte D'Ivoire.

Governor Diri, who joined other top government functionaries to watch the semi-final game against Bafana Bafana of South Africa in Bouake, said it was a hard fought victory for the Eagles.

Governor Diri, watched the game live with his counterpart from Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, and the Sports Minister, Senator John Enoh.

Senator Diri said, "Having come this far, the Nigerian players have shown that they have what it takes to lift the Africa Nations Cup for the fourth time.

I join my faith with all our countrymen in wishing the Super Eagles the best of luck in the final game.

Once again, congratulations Nigeria!"
