Plateau State Governor Mourns Loss of Access Holdings CEO, Herbert Wigwe, Family

Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has conveyed his sincere condolences following the passing of Herbert Wigwe, the Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Access Holdings plc.

Governor Mutfwang expressed deep sorrow over the tragic helicopter crash in California, near the Nevada border, United States of America, which claimed the lives of Herbert Wigwe, his wife, and son.

He lamented the profound loss, emphasizing its impact not only on the immediate family and the banking industry but also on the entire nation, where Herbert Wigwe's contributions to development were widely felt.

Recalling his meaningful interactions with the late Herbert Wigwe in Jos, Governor Mutfwang acknowledged the significant void left in both the banking sector and the business community, underscoring the challenge of filling such a gap.

The governor identified Herbert Wigwe's unwavering patriotism, faith, resilience, and dedication to Nigeria's progress, noting his substantial role in the nation's economic recovery and diversification efforts.

Governor Mutfwang, on behalf of his family, the government, and the people of Plateau State, extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, praying for divine comfort and strength to endure this profound loss.
