Gov Agbu Kefas Receives Newly Posted Heads of Security Formations on an Introductory Visit, Urges Them to Be Proactive in Fights Against Crime and Criminality

The Governor of Taraba state Dr Agbu Kefas has urged newly posted security chiefs to the state to be proactive in their operations to fight crime and criminality in the state.

Dr. Agbu Kefas stated this on Monday at the Exco Chamber Government House, Jalingo when he received three posted heads of security agencies in the state on an introductory visit.

Receiving the newly posted Commander 6 Brigade of the Nigerian Army Jalingo, Brigadier General Kingsley Chidebere Uwa, the newly posted Commissioner of Police, David Layomum, and the newly posted Controller of Immigration Service, Abdulmumini Lawal, the Governor of Taraba State Dr Agbu Kefas expressed hope that their posting will be a blessing to the state and urged them to deploy their wealth of experience to ensure crime and criminality have no place in Taraba State.

The Governor stressed the need for the Officers to provide pragmatic leadership and ensure transformations in their various commands.

While congratulating the officers on their posting to the state, Dr Agbu Kefas assured them of his support to enable them to deliver on their responsibilities as expected.

The highlight of the visit was presentations from the Officers to the Governor.

The occasion was attended by the Deputy Governor of Taraba state, State PDP Chairman, SGS, Chief of Staff, Members of the state executive council, and service Chiefs among others.
