PDP GOVERNORS' FORUM FELICITATES GOV.OLUSEYI MAKINDE ON HIS 57TH BIRTHDAY

The Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDP-GF) under the Chairmanship of H.E. Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed  (CON), the Governor of Bauchi State, on behalf of all member Governors, heartily felicitates H.E. Engr. Oluseyi Makinde, the Governor of Oyo State as he turns 57 today, December 25th, which coincides with the global celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.

2. The Forum along with his family, friends, and indeed, all the people of Oyo State, humbly gives all gratitude to the God Almighty for his life and protection, good health and sagacity in piloting the affairs  of State in Oyo.


3. We celebrate his dynamic performances since his return for second term, consolidating the vision he set up over five years ago for the advancement of Oyo people. And which traverses power generation, agriculture, road network and urban renewal, education at all levels, workers' welfare, healthcare service delivery, industrialization, security and safety, MSME empowerment.


4. The Forum is proud of his turnaround achievements in the upgraded aviation sector, the reorganized solid mineral sector, transportation, culture and tourism, youth and women empowerment,  which have won him several awards.


5. The Forum acknowledges his numerous contributions to the growth of our Party, PDP, and his effective inputs in the Nigeria Governors' Forum as the Vice Chairman for the growth of the nation, praying for more divine leading upon him.


6. He will always have the unfettered cooperation of the Forum.

Governor Mutfwang Crowns New Ngolong Ngas, HRH Nde Jika Golit

The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has performed the coronation of the New Ngolong Ngas, Nde Jika Golit. The ceremony is coming nine years after the demise of the late Ngolong Ngas, Nde Joshua Dimlong. Governor Mutfwang, who performed the presentation of staff of office and certificate to the New Ngolong Ngas at the Pankshin Township Stadium, praised the Ngas Nation for a rancor-free selection process of the new Ngolong Ngas. He warned mischief makers against needless court actions that are capable of delaying or frustrating the selection and installation of traditional rulers in the state. The PDP Governors’ Forum under the leadership of H.E. Governor Bala A. Mohammed, CON, held an enlarged meeting at the Bauchi State Governors’ Lodge, Tatari Ali House, Asokoro on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. Rising from the consultative meeting of the various organs of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the Party resolved as follows: 1. The National Executive Committee, NEC, meeting originally slated for October 24, 2024, has been rescheduled to November 28, 2024. 2.
