SEASON'S GREETINGS FROM THE PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC PARTY GOVERNORS' FORUM, PDP-GF

The People's Democratic Party Governors' Forum, PDP-GF, under the Chairmanship of His Excellency, Senator Bala A. Mohammed CON and Governor of Bauchi State, on behalf of all the member Governors extends its warmest greetings to all members of our formidable PDP-family at this Christmas, wishing them joy and peace as we join the rest of the world to mark the birth of Jesus Christ.


We heartily share this season's good tidings with our former  Presidents and Vice Presidents, former Governors and Deputy Governors, former Ministers, current and forner Leaders/ Members of the Legislature at all levels, current and former Party Chairmen and members of the respective National and sub National Exco's, all Party chieftains and our unwavering members.

This festive period is a time for reflection, hope, and unity, reminding us of the boundless compassion and love that Jesus Christ brought into the world.

It is also, globally, a symbolic time for unity and peace that transcends political affiliations, faiths, and ethnicities, bringing people together in our shared values and aspirations. 

So, first of all, we urge all our mandates across our party organs to shed off their toga of divisiveness in honour of our founding fathers and for the good of the Party.

As we look forward to the New Year 2025, we are filled with hope and optimism for a brighter future for our Party with commitment to working tirelessly to ensure that every Nigerian enjoys the fruits of democracy, prosperity, and peace where justice, equity, and opportunity prevail for all.

The Forum salutes all Nigerians for their resilience, faith, and determination in the face of challenges. Your strength and spirit are the bedrock of our nation's progress. 

The Forum deeply empathizes with the families who have encountered avoidable disasters in one form or the other, or incurred losses in the course of their businesses, even in the line of duty to build our nation. We foresee your compensations and restoration in what this Party stands for.

As we enter the New Year, let us continue to support one another, uplift those in need, and strive for a better Nigeria.

COMMUNIQUE ISSUED BY THE PDP GOVERNORS’ FORUM AT THE END OF AN ENLARGED MEETING ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2024

The PDP Governors’ Forum under the leadership of H.E. Governor Bala A. Mohammed, CON, held an enlarged meeting at the Bauchi State Governors’ Lodge, Tatari Ali House, Asokoro on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. Rising from the consultative meeting of the various organs of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the Party resolved as follows: 1. The National Executive Committee, NEC, meeting originally slated for October 24, 2024, has been rescheduled to November 28, 2024. 2. PDP Governors' Forum Urges Collaborative Efforts to Tackle Nigeria's Challenges

At the conclusion of their meeting in Abuja on Monday, February 12th, 2024, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors' Forum, under the leadership of H.E Governor Bala Mohammed, CON, addressed pressing issues affecting Nigeria. The Forum expressed concern over the economic and security hardships faced by Nigerians, urging urgent collaborative efforts between the Federal Government and subnational governments to find lasting solutions. Emphasizing the need for state police, they stressed the importance of safeguards to prevent abuse of power. Additionally, the Forum highlighted the devaluation of the Naira and called on monetary and fiscal authorities to devise appropriate remedies.
