Governor Adeleke Engages 10,000 Youth for Imole Youth Corps, Says 250, 000 Jobs Created in the last Two Years

In a massive push for youth employment and engagement,  Senator Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke has inaugurated and inducted 10,000 youth into the Imole Youth Corps. At a grand ceremony held at the Freedom Park, Osogbo, the State Governor said  the occasion is “a major highlight of his administration’s push to address youth joblessness alongside other indirect steps to engage the youth across the sectors” Addressing the members of the  Imole youth corps clad in their uniforms, the Governor described the programme as “a transitional arrangement designed to provide opportunities for our youth” from all walks of life. “Today's gathering is a continuation of our efforts to provide job opportunities for our teaming youth. Governor Eno Showers N550M on A'Ibom Farmers, Entrepreneurs, Sports Champions, Others

In fulfillment of his promise to encourage talents, promote creativity, hard work and revive the passion for agriculture, Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has showered rewards to the tune of N550 million on Akwa Ibom indigenes who have shown distinction in their various endeavours In what was tagged, "An Evening of Grants and Empowerment", N25 million was awarded as grants to 50 winners of the ARISE Home Farms Contest and N300 million as grant to 400 female youths under the Entrepreneurship Accelerator Programme-3. Governor Eno Mourns Loss of His Deputy’s Daughter, Blessing

It was a night of grief for family members, friends, colleagues, and in-laws of the State Deputy Governor, Senator Akon Eyakenyi, as they converged at Insight Bible Church, Edet Akpan Avenue, Uyo, for a night of tributes and celebration of the life and times of her daughter, Mrs. Blessing Eyakenyi Olumuyiwa Adewumi, who recently passed away. The State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, who led the state delegation to the event, commiserated with his deputy and her spouse, Elder Etim Eyakenyi, as well as the husband of the deceased and the entire family, describing Blessing’s death as a great loss to both her family and loved ones. He noted that though her life was short, it was impactful, as she exerted a positive influence on those around her. He urged the bereaved family to take solace in the loving memories of her life, which he said was filled with love and compassion.
