Governor Fintiri Receives New AIG Zone 3 And Comptroller Adamawa Correctional Service

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Tuesday 17th August 2021 received the newly posted Assistant Inspector General of Police Zone 3 comprising Adamawa and Taraba, Daniel Surkan Pedro in his office at Government House, Yola.

He charged the new AIG to ensure that perpetrators of crimes in Adamawa are brought to book assuring that his Administration will not relent in maintaining peace in State.

The New AIG zone 3, Daniel Surkan Pedro expressed his appreciation for the cooperation between the police, Government and stakeholders in the State.

In the same vein, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri received the new Comptroller of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCOs), Ahmed Abdu Usman, for the Adamawa State Command in the Government House, Yola.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri reassured him that the State Government will cooperate with the Correctional Institutes to decongest the correctional facilities in Adamawa.

The newly posted Controller, Abdu Usman told Governor Umaru Fintiri that 95% of inmates remanded in the Correctional facilities are indigenes of Adamawa.
