Nathaniel Bassey has been described as Akwa Ibom’s proud export to the global Christian community, who has made tremendous impact.  This assertion was made by the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Mr. Udom Emmanuel at the 40th birthday celebration of Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, held at Redeemed Christian Church of God, King’s Court, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Governor Emmanuel eulogized the music minister and appreciated him for being a good example to the young people and a blessing across the generations .
The Governor was accompanied by the Elder Ben Udobia(DG Divine Mandate), Rt. Hon. Francis Charles (Member, House of Representatives ), Rt. Hon. Udo Kieran Akpan, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Uko,Rt. Hon. Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
