Governor Fintiri Expresses Confidence in PDP's Chances in Edo Governorship Election

Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has expressed his optimism about the Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) prospects in the upcoming Edo State governorship election. 

Despite the recent setback of the court judgment overturning the nomination of the party's candidate, Governor Fintiri remains confident in the party's ability to overcome this obstacle and emerge victorious.

Speaking in Abuja during the inaugural meeting of the campaign council which he is the Chairman, Governor Fintiri acknowledged the challenges ahead but emphasized the credibility of the PDP's candidate and the party's track record of delivering results. 

He expressed his unwavering belief that the party will ultimately prevail and secure a win in the election.

He expressed his confidence in the party's legal team and their ability to navigate the situation successfully.

Governor Fintiri's statement comes as a boost to the PDP's morale ahead of the election. 

His confidence in the party's chances is seen as a testament to the party's strength and determination to secure a win in Edo State.

The Edo State governorship election is scheduled to take place on September 21, 2024. The election is expected to be a keenly contested one, with several political parties vying for the top spot.

Education Remains a Top Priority of Our Policy Thrust: Gov. Fubara

The Rivers State Government says it will continue to place education as one of the top most priorities of its policy thrust. Governor Mutfwang Crowns New Ngolong Ngas, HRH Nde Jika Golit

The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has performed the coronation of the New Ngolong Ngas, Nde Jika Golit. The ceremony is coming nine years after the demise of the late Ngolong Ngas, Nde Joshua Dimlong.
