Plateau State Governor Hails Osigwe's Emergence as NBA President

Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Mazi Afam Josiah Osigwe (SAN) on his election as the new President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).

Governor Mutfwang has also congratulated the newly elected Executive members of the NBA. In a congratulatory message, the Governor expressed confidence in their united approach to leading the association towards a future focused on truth and justice for all Nigerians.

He commended the NBA for conducting a successful election saying this underlines the Association's vital role as the "conscience of the society and the hope of the common man."

Governor Mutfwang praised Mazi Osigwe's leadership qualities and dedication to the legal profession. He also expressed the hope  that Osigwe's extensive experience will propel the NBA to greater heights.

The Governor believes that Osigwe's leadership and vision will inspire NBA members to deliver efficient and effective legal services that will ultimately benefit the entire nation.

On behalf of the Plateau State government and its people, Governor Mutfwang offered his congratulations to Mazi Osigwe and his team and prayed God to grant them the wisdom and strength to provide effective and responsive leadership throughout their term.

The Governor extended his appreciation to the outgoing President, Mr. Yakubu Maikyau (SAN), for his leadership and legacy of justice, fairness, and commitment to excellence during his tenure.

Education Remains a Top Priority of Our Policy Thrust: Gov. Fubara

The Rivers State Government says it will continue to place education as one of the top most priorities of its policy thrust. Governor Mutfwang Crowns New Ngolong Ngas, HRH Nde Jika Golit

The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has performed the coronation of the New Ngolong Ngas, Nde Jika Golit. The ceremony is coming nine years after the demise of the late Ngolong Ngas, Nde Joshua Dimlong. Governor Mutfwang, who performed the presentation of staff of office and certificate to the New Ngolong Ngas at the Pankshin Township Stadium, praised the Ngas Nation for a rancor-free selection process of the new Ngolong Ngas. He warned mischief makers against needless court actions that are capable of delaying or frustrating the selection and installation of traditional rulers in the state.
