Bauchi Gov. laments ghost workers’ menace

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has lamented the prevalence of ghost workers in the State Civil Service.
He said that it is “immoral” and “unfair” for one person to collect four different salaries at a time many graduates in the State were unemployed.
The Governor stated this on Wednesday at the swearing-in of Ahmed Ma’aji (acting Head of Civil Service) and Adamu Soro (Commissioner) at Government House, Bauchi.
Others were Isa Tilde (Special Adviser, Hajj Affairs), Baffa Disina (Special Adviser, Political Affairs), Brig. Gen. Marcus Yake (Special Adviser, Security) and Hajiya Zainab Rufa’i (Special Adviser, Domestic NGO’s and Community Development).
The Permanent Secretaries were Usman Kawu, Dr. Bako Abubakar, Mohammed Abdulkadir, Saleh Kafi and Abubakar Abdu.
