GOV. UMAHI BEGINS DUALIZATION OF ABAKALIKI - AFIKPO ROAD, APPLIES CONCRETE TECHNOLOGY

The Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. David Nweze Umahi, FNSE, FNATE, has let loose his construction giants to the construction site of Abakaliki - Afikpo Road where dualization of the road with 8 inches concrete based pavement commenced recently.
 Reports have confirmed activity at the site with heavy duty construction equipments at work. Some of the equipments were seen excavating and setting out while others were seen mixing concrete and dispatching. Some bridges and drainages are ongoing while some are completed.

Governor Umahi had assured Ebonyians that the construction of Ebonyi International Airport is a must and will be completed and commissioned in his regime. The above has raised Ebonyians' hope very high as the completion and commissioning will boost economic activities in the State, especially as the St. Margaret Umahi's International Market, Olympic Stadium, 3 Industrial Clusters, Waste to Wealth Recycling Plant, Shopping Mall etc. are about to become functional.


The Abakaliki - Afikpo Road measures 23.5Km and is the major road that connects the ongoing Ebonyi International Airport with other parts of the State and beyond. 
 The dualization will be built with 8 inches concrete pavement and will last beyond 70years from its construction date, as a sample of the technology that was first built at NigerCem road, more than 30years ago, is still standing.






The Governor believes in putting the plight of the masses first. He is building the people for the future sustainability and all his projects and policies are aimed at securing the future of Ebonyi State and Ebonyians.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families.
