Zamfara State  Governor, Bello Mohammed Matawalle,  has announced his government's readiness to make the State's 2020 Hajj Exercise the best in the country.

The Governor made the announcement, Thursday, while receiving the 2019 Hajj Exercise reports from the Chairman of the State Government delegation and Amirul Hajj of the State, Justice Lawal Hassan Gummi and that of the State Pilgrims Commission from the commission's Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar S. On the issue of activities of criminals who usually deceive pilgrims during such exercises, the Governor promised to set up an investigation into their activities especially the commission's officials who were said to have swindled some of the unsuspecting pilgrims during this year's Hajj, so that they will be punished and removed from participating in future exercises.
