Handing over of the Judges Quarters and unveiling of Yenagoa Second Gateway.


The 20 units 4bedroom semi detached duplexes equipped with central water control
along Isaac Boro Express way, was handed over and received by the Chief Judge of the State, Justice Kate Abiri on behalf of the Bayelsa State Judiciary.
The premises can accommodate 40 structures,and a direct labour contract.
Governor Dickson speaking stated that this isone of the projects he wanted to handover to the judiciary. He said he had desired a serene environment to become the official quarters of judges.
The governor equally expressed that it was his hope that the buildings will not be sold nor arbitrarily allocated to individual judges.
'This is the official judiciary quarters where all judges in office will reside and return back to the judiciary after their service period.'
An instrument transfering ownership of the estate to the judiciary was handed over to the Chief Judge of the state in line with the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Judicial autonomy law.
