By Tony Okechukwu

Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, has been applauded for joining the league of governors implementing the new national minimum wage.

The N30,000 wage reflected in January salaries.

Also, Tambuwal’s resolve to complete all inherited projects has been described as a good omen to the State and its citizens.

A statement by his Special Assistant, Abdullahi Sokoto, and Abubakar Ahmad, reads: “It is our belief these projects, if successfully executed, will lay a concrete foundation for the next administration. It is interesting that the salary was implemented within the shortest possible time and according to the Federal Government’s approved scheme…”

They urged the people to support the government by praying for its success and assist in any way possible towards achieving its noble objectives.
