Gov. Diri Gives Thanks To God For Election Victory

Governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri and his Deputy, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, were at the King of Glory Chapel, Government House, to give thanks to God for their victory at the just concluded gubernatorial election. 

The Governor thanked the Church for standing by him and his deputy. He reaffirmed his believe that all power comes from God. 
"Today, I am here with my deputy to give thanks and glory to God for granting us victory. When we started this journey, we took our hope and trust to God. We came here to ask for the blessings of the church. And to the glory of God, God has given us victory. This victory is for all Bayelsans."

In same vein, the Governor was at the Peace Park in Yenagoa to join thousands of Bayelsans in celebration of the electoral victory. 


The Governor thanked Bayelsans for voting for PDP and defending their votes.

"I am short of words. The love you all have for your government is unprecedented. All through the campaigns, you showed solidarity, during the elections, you voted for us, at the collation center, you stood to defend your votes. I appreciate all you. May God bless you all. May God bless Bayelsa State."


The Governor was joined by his Deputy, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, DG of Campaign Council, Hon. Mitema Obordor, National and State Assembly members, Commissioners and other top government functionaries.

Governor Fintiri reaffirms prioritization of infrastructure, welfare

 ...inspects ongoing renovation of Courts Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri says his administration is giving priority to infrastructure and welfare improvements across key sectors, including the judiciary, legislature, and civil service, to boost productivity and comfort. He stated this when he inspected the ongoing renovation at the Customary Court and High Court in Yola. The Governor said his administration is determined to provide every sector with the right facilities so that workers can deliver their best.
