Governor Fintiri Receives NEDC Commission

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri warmly welcomed the newly reconstituted governing board of the Northeast Development Commission (NEDC) on a courtesy visit to his office. The board members, led by their Chairman, General Paul Tarfa ret'd, expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to meet with the Governor and discuss the development plans for the Northeast region.

During the meeting, Governor Fintiri commended the Federal Government for reconstituting the board and expressed his optimism about the positive impact the NEDC would have on the region.

He emphasized the need for collaboration between the State Government and the Commission to effectively address the developmental challenges faced by the Northeast.

The Governor also highlighted the importance of transparency and accountability in the commission's operations, urging the board members to ensure that resources are allocated.
