Governor Fintiri to lobby for completion of Chochi Irrigation Project

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has thrown his hat into the ring, emphasizing the government's unwavering resolve and commitment to continue pulling strings for the completion of the Chochi Irrigation Project and other federal initiatives that promise to sow seeds of job opportunities and food security in the state.

During a special live broadcast on Adamawa Broadcasting Corporation ABC Yola, the Governor underscored the government's pledge to offer a helping hand to farmers across the state, ensuring that the agricultural sector flourishes.

In a bold statement, Governor Fintiri declared that his administration would leave no stone unturned in tackling the thorny issue of insecurity for the well-being of all citizens. This claim stands unchallenged, given the tangible strides made in maintaining peace, a welcome guest in every nook and cranny of Adamawa, as evidenced by the clampdown on Shila gang activities and the arrest of its sponsors (with the police confirming 40 arrests of Shila boys).

Governor Fintiri tipped his hat to the security forces for their dogged determination to clear Adamawa of criminal elements, a testament to their unwavering vigilance.

Echoing his mantra of "nothing left untouched," Governor Fintiri proudly highlighted the construction of 8 fully functional Cottage hospitals and the establishment of 149 healthcare centres across Local Governments during his previous term. He assured automatic appointments for indigenous medical students, adding another feather to his cap.

The "fresh air Governor" also shone a light on the state specialist hospital's manpower, boasting of 20+ consultants in active service. This, he argued, elevates the state's health centre to a position of envy compared to federal medical centres, especially with the recent rollout of a first-tier, internationally standard Obstetric and Gynecology Unit, envisioned as a silver bullet for the common man's health woes in Adamawa.

Governor Fintiri shared his administration's tireless effort to fuel rapid economic growth by laying the groundwork for the expansion of flyovers (the fourth in the state capital), a move aimed at unclogging traffic, bolstering security, and rolling out the red carpet for investors in Adamawa.

As the term of office for the 21 Local Council chairmen draws to a close, Governor Fintiri revealed plans to steer another peaceful, free, and fair local government poll, adding another chapter to the state's democratic journey.

In a call to spiritual arms, the Governor urged Muslims to utilize the Ramadan Fast as a conduit for divine intervention against the storms battering the country.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri pledged to keep his campaign promises, signalling that various projects are not just on the drawing board but on their way to fruition, aiming to write a new chapter in the state's development narrative.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims
