MATAWALLE APPOINTS 3 PERM SECs AND PRINCIPAL PRIVATE SECRETARY TO GOVERNOR



Governor of Zamfara State, Hon. Bello Muhammad MON, (Matawallen Maradun) in a release by his Press Secretary, Jamilu Iliyasu Birnin magaji, has approved the appointments of the following officers as permanent secretaries:

1. Garba Ahmad Gusau
2. Abubakar Jafar Maradun
3. Bala Umar Tsafe

Governor Bello Muhammad also approved the appointment of Lawal Umar Maradun as Principal Private Secretary to the Governor (PPS).

Before his appointment as permanent secretary, Garba Ahmad Gusau served as the Director (Finance), Zamfara State Hajj Commission and Zamfara State Primary Education Board.

Alhaji Abubakar Jafar Maradun, before his appointment as permanent secretary, was the Principal Private Secretary to the Governor, PPS.

Similarly, Bala Umar Tsafe, before his appointment served as Liaison Officer, Abuja Liason Office, Former Secretary Zamfara State Local Government Service Commission and  his last position as the Secretary Zamfara State Rural Water Agency (RUWATSAN).

The new Principal Private Secretary to the Governor, Lawal Umar Maradun, worked with the Abdu Gusau Polytechnic, Talata Mafara as Senior Lecturer, Department of Mass Communication where he served as Head of Department (Mass Communication) and later appointed as Journalist and Media Relations Specialist, TRIMING PROJECT, a World Bank project under the Federal Ministry of Water Resources.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
