Gov. Fintiri Inspects Ongoing Construction Of Numan General Hospital

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Tuesday, inspected the ongoing construction of the Female Surgical ward, Paediatric ward, Theatre complex, Laboratory and Mortuary building at the Numan General Hospital.

Speaking to Journalists, Governor Fintiri disclosed that his administration is determined to change the narrative of Adamawa's underdevelopment through the provision of basic needs of the people. He noted especially health care delivery, saying that health is wealth. 

He expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of work.

He was accompanied by the Members representing Numan - PM Mackondo, Nassarawo - Binyeri Umar Nashon, Jimeta - Hamidu Lekki and Demsa - Keth Mamuno as well as the Commissioners of Health, Professor Isa Abdullahi, Commissioner of Entrepreneurship, Hon. James Iliya, Commissioner of Agriculture, Hon. Umar Daware, and that of Works and Energy Development, Hon. Adamu Atiku Abubakar

Delta awards N78bn contract for flyovers in Warri, Effurun

Delta State Government has approved the award of contracts worth N78 billion to Julius Berger Nigeria Limited for the construction of three flyover bridges and road expansion in the Warri/Effurun megalopolis. This was part of decisions reached at the State Executive Council meeting presided over by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Tuesday in Asaba.  Briefing journalists at the end of the Exco meeting, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works, Engr Fred Edafiogho, said approval of the contracts were aimed at solving the gridlock often experienced in the twin cities.
