Gov Fintiri Lays Wreath In Honour Of Nation's Fallen Heroes

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Saturday, joined President Muhammadu Buhari and his counterparts across the country to perform the wreath laying ceremony in honour of the nation's fallen heroes in commemoration of the 2022 Armed Forces Remembrance Day.

The event took place at the Mahmud Ribadu Square, Yola, Adamawa State.

Other dignitaries that laid the wreaths at the event included the representative of the Speaker, Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Pwamwakaine Mackondo, and the State Chief Judge, Nathan Musa.

Service commanders in Adamawa and the representative of Lamido Adamawa, Dr. Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha, also joined in the wreath laying ceremony.

Armed Forces Remembrance Day is celebrated on 15th of January annually to honour Nigeria's fallen heroes, veterans and those serving in various peace operations across the world.
