Sokoto To Partner Egypt On Health, Education, Investment

Gov. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal  of Sokoto state on Thursday met with the Egyptian Ambassador to Nigeria, H. E. Amb. Amr El Sherbini and the Third Secretary in the Egypt embassy in Nigeria, Mohamed Osama Ayoub to discuss mutual areas of bilateral relationship between the state government and the Arab Republic of Egypt.


Gov. Tambuwal was accompanied during the visit by the state Commissioners of Finance, Higher Education and Health; Hon. Abdussamad Dasuki, Prof. Bashir Garba and Dr Muhammad Ali Inname respectively.

Governor Fintiri reaffirms prioritization of infrastructure, welfare

 ...inspects ongoing renovation of Courts Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri says his administration is giving priority to infrastructure and welfare improvements across key sectors, including the judiciary, legislature, and civil service, to boost productivity and comfort. He stated this when he inspected the ongoing renovation at the Customary Court and High Court in Yola. The Governor said his administration is determined to provide every sector with the right facilities so that workers can deliver their best. He explained that the judiciary, being one of the three arms of government, is receiving special attention with the provision of modern and comfortable office spaces. How Olubolade Averted Bloodshed As Bayelsa Military Administrator - Gov Diri

Governor of Bayelsa State , Senator Douye Diri , has narrated how a former Military Administrator of the state, Navy Captain Omoniyi Olubolade (rtd), avoided a bloody crisis during his time at the helm of affairs.  Olubolade was the third military administrator of Bayelsa from June 27, 1997 – July 9, 1998 after the state was created by the late military Head of State, Gen. Sani Abacha , on October 1, 1996.
