PDP Governors Forum Congratulates Delta Governor, H.E. Sheriff Oborevwori, on Supreme Court Victory

The Peoples Democratic Party Governors Forum (PDP-GF), under the chairmanship of H.E. Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed (CON) and Governor of Bauchi State, congratulates H.E. Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on his Supreme Court victory on January 19, 2024.

2.   The Forum of PDP Governors is delighted with the verdict of the Supreme Court in the case instituted by both the APC and Labour Party Governorship Candidates against the incumbent PDP Governor who was the choice of the people at the polls.

3.  The Supreme Court's verdict upheld the concurrent positive judgments of both the Tribunal and the Court of Appeal.  This is a judicial affirmation of the will and votes of the people of Delta State who spoke emphatically with their votes on March 25, 2024.

4. This victory further empowers  Governor Oborevwori to continue to deliver on the projects and programmes that are dear and impactful to the people of Delta State.

5.  The Forum celebrates the people of Delta State for their dedication and steadfast support to the Governor and the Peoples Democratic Party on the onerous task of consolidating on the giant strides of the government.

6.   The Forum prays for divine favour, wisdom and  strength for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori as he steers the ship of State to calmer waters.

Education Remains a Top Priority of Our Policy Thrust: Gov. Fubara

The Rivers State Government says it will continue to place education as one of the top most priorities of its policy thrust. Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara stated this during the 34th Convocation Ceremony of the University of Port Harcourt on Saturday 24th February, 2024. Governor Mutfwang Crowns New Ngolong Ngas, HRH Nde Jika Golit

The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has performed the coronation of the New Ngolong Ngas, Nde Jika Golit. The ceremony is coming nine years after the demise of the late Ngolong Ngas, Nde Joshua Dimlong. Governor Mutfwang, who performed the presentation of staff of office and certificate to the New Ngolong Ngas at the Pankshin Township Stadium, praised the Ngas Nation for a rancor-free selection process of the new Ngolong Ngas.
