Governor Agbu Kefas flags off Taraba Young Professionals Scheme.
Governor Agbu Kefas has officially launched the Taraba Young Professionals Scheme, marking a significant step towards fulfilling the commitment of the administration to provide good governance and quality education for the people of Taraba State.
The youth training in Hydraform Bricks moulding technology, held at Jauro Yinu Primary School in Jalingo, the state capital, is a testament to the government's dedication to providing free and compulsory high-quality education for primary and secondary schools.
The imported Hydraform machines from South Africa will be used to construct new school buildings across all 16 local government areas of the state, ensuring durable infrastructure for generations to come.
Governor Agbu Kefas expressed confidence that the trained youths will not only benefit the state but also find new career opportunities.
Once trained, they will be deployed to different areas of the state to begin production, guaranteeing precision and durability in the construction of school buildings.
This initiative is not just about education but also about empowering young people to contribute meaningfully to the development of Taraba State.
The state Commissioner for Education, Dr Augustina Godwin, emphasized that the acquired Hydraform machines will be deployed across the state, and the 100 participants selected from the 16 local government areas will play a key role in rebuilding the education sector.
The Country Representative of Hydraform International, Andulhakeem Usman, commended the Governor's foresight in purchasing the Hydraform bricks moulding equipment, describing it as a revolution in building materials technology in the state.
He emphasized the need for continual training and partnership from the state government to impact the youths and contribute to the building of schools and affordable housing schemes.
