ASSURED Agenda: Consolidating Prosperity Drive!

The trajectory of development by the Prosperity Administration in the first term is propelling a new direction for a better Bayelsa State.

The burning desire by Governor Douye Diri, to make a difference in governance would be driven by the A-S-S-U-R-E-D Agenda which encapsulates hope, a shared vision for development, and economic diversification.


This is not just wishful thinking but a template with actionable steps and matching orders to members of his team to address the realities and consolidate on the huge success recorded in the first term.

Birthing a renewed vision in Agricultural Revolution and Blue Economy will address food security, tap the ocean resources, improve the local economy  and create millions of job opportunities. 

On Sports and Youth Development, the current administration has done so much and now prepared to build a new and modern stadium. With the creation of a separate Ministry for Youth and appointment of a vibrant youth as Commissioner, Alfred Kemepadei, a new vista of hope for youth development and empowerment is here.

Security and Peace will be sustained with more investments. Cheers to a great news that Bayelsa is one of the safest states in the country today.

With a new zeal on Urban Renewal and Rural Development, new housing schemes would be developed for the ordinary people including the civil servants. Already, the new Commissioners and Assembly quarters are nearing completion in the new Yenagoa city.

Robust Healthcare Delivery is a goal under the current administration with a very experienced Commissioner in charge of the Ministry, Prof. Seiyefa Brisibe. The health insurance scheme is alive and kicking but this government wants to make marks on primary health care too.

Energy Generation, Economic Growth and Tourism, so much is happening to industrialise the state after building new roads infrastructure and restoration of peace and security. Government is also committed to power generation. 

Diversifying Education towards Innovation and Technology, a very positive initiative to build the future of the State with interest in technological-based education. The new Science and Technical Colleges fully equipped give a great hope in this direction. Education remains the best investment to the children.

This vision is practical and has assured us of a greater, united, peaceful and prosperous Bayelsa State.

Education Remains a Top Priority of Our Policy Thrust: Gov. Fubara

The Rivers State Government says it will continue to place education as one of the top most priorities of its policy thrust. Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara stated this during the 34th Convocation Ceremony of the University of Port Harcourt on Saturday 24th February, 2024. Governor Mutfwang Crowns New Ngolong Ngas, HRH Nde Jika Golit

The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has performed the coronation of the New Ngolong Ngas, Nde Jika Golit. The ceremony is coming nine years after the demise of the late Ngolong Ngas, Nde Joshua Dimlong. Governor Mutfwang, who performed the presentation of staff of office and certificate to the New Ngolong Ngas at the Pankshin Township Stadium, praised the Ngas Nation for a rancor-free selection process of the new Ngolong Ngas.
