PDP Governors' Forum Celebrates Our Party PDP at 26 Years

The Peoples Democratic Party Governors' Forum (PDP-GF) under the chairmanship of H.E. Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohamed (CON) and Governor of Bauchi State on behalf of all the member-Governors celebrates our party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on this memorable day marking its 26th anniversary since its establishment on August 31, 1998.

2. The Forum returns all gratitude to the Almighty God for making manifest the dream of our founding fathers and also congratulate the PDP Family across the world, for its steadfastness and firm belief in this project where good governance reigns and provides democratic dividends to our people, in our quest to build an egalitarian society where truth, transparency, love and human rights abide.


3. This special day has spurred in all of us streams of deep emotions as we recount the selfless sacrifices made by our heroes in re-establishing democracy after over two decades of military rule.


4. With determination, through the thick and thin, we have continued to serve and even now, have answered the call of our citizens to rescue our nation from the uncoordinated economic policies of the APC-led Federal Government of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which have plunged our people in the deep waters of economic tribulations and woes, misery, hunger and insecurity.


5. By our actions and the people's assessment, the Forum has shown the way to go by always strengthening the structures of our Party to unite the Family in this onerous task.


6. Our watchword remains inclusivity in our strides on all our platforms where opinions severally may vary, we have assured optimal performance through transformative policies and projects to uplift the lives of the people and continuously maintain their trust. 


7. As a vital organ of the Party, we assure every citizen of our total cooperation in the drive for restoration and replication of good values in our nation, where law and order deploy justice, safety for all, human integrity and reward for service, promising a youths and future generations a tomorrow free of marginalization and oppression; a tomorrow where freedom of speech, association and worship, access to innovative education, healthcare service, food security, trade and commerce, security of lives and property, among others will suffice.

Education Remains a Top Priority of Our Policy Thrust: Gov. Fubara

The Rivers State Government says it will continue to place education as one of the top most priorities of its policy thrust. Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara stated this during the 34th Convocation Ceremony of the University of Port Harcourt on Saturday 24th February, 2024. Governor Mutfwang Crowns New Ngolong Ngas, HRH Nde Jika Golit

The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has performed the coronation of the New Ngolong Ngas, Nde Jika Golit. The ceremony is coming nine years after the demise of the late Ngolong Ngas, Nde Joshua Dimlong. Governor Mutfwang, who performed the presentation of staff of office and certificate to the New Ngolong Ngas at the Pankshin Township Stadium, praised the Ngas Nation for a rancor-free selection process of the new Ngolong Ngas.
