PDP Governors' Felicitates With Gov Matawalle @ 52


The Peoples Democratic Party Governors' Forum (PDP-GF) under the Chairmanship of Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal CFR is happy to rejoice with Governor Ahmed Muhammed Matawalle on the occasion of his 52nd birthday celebration, February 12.

In a press statement issued on behalf of the forum and signed by Hon. C.I.D. Maduabum, the Director-General, the Governors said "We join other members of your family to give gratitude to Almighty God for his numerous blessings of good health, wisdom and care on you and your family." 


Continuing the  statement added "We are proud to celebrate with you on this milestone because you have been a leading light on the enthronement of people oriented leadership and sacrifice for the good of all in Zamfara State, since your assumption of office as Governor in 2019."

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families. Announcing the donation at the New Banquet Hall of the Government House, Little Rayfield, the First Lady said that government is concerned about their plight.  Senator Oluremi Tinubu expressed her deep concern for the victims, stating that the news of the deteriorating security situation in Mangu Local Government Area on May 15, 2023, had deeply saddened her.  She acknowledged the devastation and despair faced by the affected communities, with destroyed homes and disrupted sources of livelihood.
