Bauchi Gov to intervene on land crisis in Gwaljamo forest

The Bauchi State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has declared strong commitment of his administration to protect citizens of the state against all forms of injustice.

Governor Bala disclosed this yesterday when farmers  in Gwaljamo forest visited him at the Government House Bauchi to present their petition on the land crisis at the  forest of Toro Local Government Area of the state.


Governor Bala who sympathized with the farmers on the crisis affecting them in the forest, disclosed that as responsible government, his administration will study their petition critically with a view to finding a way out of  the matter.

The Governor who was represented by the Chief of Staff, Government House Dr. Aminu Hassan Gamawa,  said the issue would be investigated for immediate action.


"I welcome you to Government House Bauchi on behalf of His Excellency, the  Governor of Bauchi State,  Senator Bala Mohammed who asked me to be with you on his behalf."

"Toro Local Government is so important to Bauchi State and as such we assure you that we will study your petition to presented to us so that we can solve the matter amicably."


The Governor expressed appreciation that the visitors conducted themselves peacefully in the process and urged them not to relent in supporting his administration for the provision of the needed social amenities.



The leader of the delegation, Ibrahim Adamu Nabardo had earlier said that  the visit to the governor is to present him with their petition on the crisis rocking the forest for government's intervention.
