CBN To Establish Diagnosis Center In Bauchi

The Bauchi State Branch of the Central Bank of Nigeria, (CBN) has disclosed its plans to establish an international diagnosis center in Bauchi.

The branch controller of the apex Bank, Alhaji Haladu Idris announced this when he led management of the branch on an advocacy visit to Governor Bala Mohammed at mini chamber, Government House Bauchi,


In his remarks, Governor Bala Mohammed who described the apex Bank as a partner in progress, said his administration will renew it partnership with the Bank to assist citizens of the state to access financial assistance.


The governor who acknowledged the positive impact of the Bank's interventions in Bauchi, said his administration is ready to work with the apex Bank in order to take the state to the next level of development.


"I am highly delighted to receive and interact with you, your visit is an attestation that the effort of my administration in improving business activities is adding value to our GDP."


"I must thank CBN for the number of assistance rendering to our people in Bauchi state especially farmers and other business community."


Governor Bala Mohammed therefore solicited for continued support and partnership with the Bank in order to assist the state government in boosting the state's economy and growth domestic product (GDP) for the advancement of the state.


On his part, the branch controller, Alhaji Haladu Idris said the advocacy visit is to discuss with the governor on possible areas of mutual collaboration for the growth and development of the state.


He said the plans to establish an international diagnosis center in Bauchi by the apex Bank for the benefit of the state is part of its corporate social responsibility.


"Your Excellency, we are here for a familiarization visit and the good news for this visit is to inform you that we are going to establish an international diagnosis center in Bauchi state by our Bank."


"We appreciate you for providing us with the land required for the project and we are happy with your efforts in improving business activities in Bauchi state."


Alhaji Haladu Idris said Bauchi state has been given the status of currency hub which is key towards economic growth and development.


He applauded Governor Bala Mohammed for his support to the branch and pleadgd to support his administration to improve the living standard of the citizens through various final support and assistance.

Governor Mutfwang Receives Nigerian First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu's Generous Donation Of 500 Million Naira To Plateau Crisis Victims

Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated N500 million to families affected by violent attacks in Plateau States.  The N500 million will be disbursed under the Renewed Hope Initiative and Social Investment Programme, with One Million Naira allocated to each of the 500 affected families.
