Tambuwal Seeks Wife For His Deputy's Son

Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal on Saturday joined hundreds of people to witness the wedding ceremony of the son of his Deputy, Abdulhamid Manir Dan Iya and Zainab Sada Ibrahim.

Governor Tambuwal represented the groom, Abdulhamid, and sought the hand of his bride from the state Commissioner of Information, Hon. Isa Bajini Galadanchi. 

The marriage was solemnized by a group of Ulamah at the Sama Road residence of Hon. Galadanchi after the payment of N100,000 bride price.
Among the dignitaries at the ceremony were the former governor of Sokoto state, Alhaji Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa, the Deputy governor of Zamfara state, Barrister Mahdi Gusau, Senator Danbaba Dambuwa, Senator Abdullahi Gobir, the Secretary to Sokoto State Government, Alhaji Sa'idu Umar, the Grand Khadi of the state, the Chief Judge, former deputy governors of Sokoto state, members of the state executive council, local government chairmen, businessmen, the Ulama and politicians.

Governor Fintiri reaffirms prioritization of infrastructure, welfare

 ...inspects ongoing renovation of Courts Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri says his administration is giving priority to infrastructure and welfare improvements across key sectors, including the judiciary, legislature, and civil service, to boost productivity and comfort. He stated this when he inspected the ongoing renovation at the Customary Court and High Court in Yola. The Governor said his administration is determined to provide every sector with the right facilities so that workers can deliver their best.
