Gov. Fintiri Hosts Adamawa Emirate Royal Family

The Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has again assured the people of Adamawa State that his administration will continue to execute people-oriented projects in Adamawa despite dwindling revenue sources.

Fintiri stated this when he granted audience to the children and grand-children of Late Lamido of Adamawa, Aliyu Mustafa, on a thank you visit in the Government House, Yola.


The family of the late monarch visited the Governor to thank Fintiri over naming of the first flyover bridge in the Northeast and located in the state capital after their late father, Lamido Aliyu Mustafa.

The governor tasked them to bring forth ideas that will help his administration which is committed to bettering the lives of the people of the state and residents. 


In his remarks, during the thank you visit, the head of the delegation, Alhaji Umaru Aliyu Mustafa, lauded Governor Fintiri for the developmental projects recorded by his administration in the areas of infrastructure and human capital development, among others.


It would be recalled that the governor had on the last day of his three-week commissioning of several landmark projects in the state, named the first flyover in the North East constructed in Yola, the Adamawa State capital, after the ruler.
