I'm Encouraged by Outpouring of Condolence Messages - Gov. Eno

 ... receives FHA on condolence visit 

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has appreciated the MD/Chief Executive of Federal Housing Authority, Hon. Oyetunde Ojo, and his team, as well as other eminent Nigerians at different levels for their encouragement messages of condolence over the passing of his wife, Her Excellency, Pastor (Mrs.) Patience Umo Eno.

Speaking when he recieved the FHA Management, Governor Eno said he was deeply encouraged by the outpouring of affection, adding that the memories of his late wife will be cherished for ever.

Earlier, Hon. Ojo said members of the FHA Management were in the State to register their condolences over what he described as irreparable loss.

Represented by the Executive Director,  Estate Services, Architect Ezekiel Nya-Etok and other Directors, he paid glowing tribute to the late First Lady, and urged the Governor and his family to be consoled by the good memories and legacies of the departed.

In company of the Governor were; the Deputy Governor, Senator Akon Eyakenyi, Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah, Commissioner for Works and Fire Service, Prof. Eno Ibanga, Commissioner for Information, Comrade Ini Ememobong and others.

Education Remains a Top Priority of Our Policy Thrust: Gov. Fubara

The Rivers State Government says it will continue to place education as one of the top most priorities of its policy thrust. Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara stated this during the 34th Convocation Ceremony of the University of Port Harcourt on Saturday 24th February, 2024. Governor Mutfwang Crowns New Ngolong Ngas, HRH Nde Jika Golit

The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has performed the coronation of the New Ngolong Ngas, Nde Jika Golit. The ceremony is coming nine years after the demise of the late Ngolong Ngas, Nde Joshua Dimlong. Governor Mutfwang, who performed the presentation of staff of office and certificate to the New Ngolong Ngas at the Pankshin Township Stadium, praised the Ngas Nation for a rancor-free selection process of the new Ngolong Ngas.
