PDP Governors' Forum Chairman Lauds Governor Fubara's Commitment to Inclusive Governance

Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors’ Forum, Senator  Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed CON, has commended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, for his steadfast dedication to strengthening democracy through inclusive governance.

Speaking to journalists after attending the swearing-in ceremony of 23 Local Government chairmen in Rivers State, the Forum's Chairman praised Governor Fubara for his proactive leadership style, particularly his ability to navigate complex political challenges with strategic insight. This, he noted, has allowed officials from various political parties to serve at the local level, reflecting a governance approach that transcends partisan lines.

"Despite the PDP losing control in some regions, Governor Fubara remains a loyal and dedicated member of the party," the Chairman remarked. "His commitment to democratic principles is well-recognized, and his inclusive approach to governance, free from political barriers, sets a high standard for other governors to follow."

Drawing from his own experiences as the Governor of Bauchi, the PDP Governors’ Forum Chairman applauded Fubara’s leadership in navigating challenging political landscapes while prioritizing the common good. "Governor Fubara has demonstrated how to lead effectively in the face of political complexities, a lesson that will benefit others."

He further reaffirmed the unwavering support of the PDP Governors’ Forum for Governor Fubara, expressing confidence that the party’s efforts towards unity and reconciliation will yield positive outcomes.

"The PDP Governors' Forum stands solidly behind Governor Fubara," he concluded, pledging continued support for the values and leadership the Rivers State governor upholds.

Education Remains a Top Priority of Our Policy Thrust: Gov. Fubara

The Rivers State Government says it will continue to place education as one of the top most priorities of its policy thrust. Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara stated this during the 34th Convocation Ceremony of the University of Port Harcourt on Saturday 24th February, 2024. Governor Mutfwang Crowns New Ngolong Ngas, HRH Nde Jika Golit

The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has performed the coronation of the New Ngolong Ngas, Nde Jika Golit.
