The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, is set to give a keynote address at Columbia Africa Conference, scheduled to take place on October 25th and 26th, 2024, at the Columbia Business School campus in Manhattanville, New York.

Themed, “Navigating Disruption: Strategies for Africa's Resilience and Transformation," the conference will bring together global thought leaders, business executives, and policymakers to discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping Africa’s economic landscape.


Tonte Lawson, Co-President, Africa Business Club Columbia Business School, in a letter, said the governor’s efforts to promote good governance and economic development in Edo State align perfectly with the conference's focus on African resilience and transformation, which makes him a perfect fit to provide valuable insights on navigating both local and global economic challenges.

The summit took place at the GPE Head office in Washington DC, on Wednesday October 23, 2024.
