Ty Danjuma Foundation Donates Morgue to the Federal Medical Center, Jalingo

The Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas, has commissioned the state-of-the-art Morgue constructed and donated to the Federal Medical Center FMC Jalingo by the TY Danjuma Foundation.

 The Facility was commissioned on Thursday, 3rd October 2024, in an occasion attended by dignitaries from far and near.

Commissioning the state-of-the-art morgue constructed and donated to the Federal Medical Center FMC Jalingo by the TY Danjuma Foundation, the Governor of Taraba State, Dr Agbu Kefas, stressed the significance of the morgue and also the need for maintenance of the facilities for durability.

The Chairman and Founder of the TY Danjuma Foundation, Retired General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma, recalled that the idea for the construction of the morgue was conceived when his Lawyer lost his Mother and was at the hospital and was displeased with the condition of the mortuary in the hospital.

TY Danjuma said the morgue has the best facilities and assured that it will stand the test of time.

He equally emphasized the need for a maintenance culture in the management of the equipment for it to serve for a long period.

The state Commissioner of Health Dr Bodiya Buma, said the new facility reflects the deep compassion and commitment of TY Danjuma to the people of the state.

According to him, the donation of the morgue underscored the collaboration between the government and the private sectors for effective healthcare delivery services.

The Chief Medical Director of FMC Jalingo, Dr Aisha Shehu Adamu, commended the philanthropic activities of Gen TY Danjuma, which cuts across the country and all sectors.


Dr Aisha Adamu said the morgue will enhance the hospital's ability to serve the communities better.

The Contractor of the Facility, Engineer Joshua Kempeneer, described the facilities at the morgue as world-class.

Governor Mutfwang Crowns New Ngolong Ngas, HRH Nde Jika Golit

The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has performed the coronation of the New Ngolong Ngas, Nde Jika Golit.
