Gov Agbu Kefas Hosts Arch Bishop of Abuja, Ignatius Kaigama

The Governor of Taraba state, Dr Agbu Kefas on Wednesday hosted the Arch Bishop of Abuja, Most Rev Ignatius Kaigama and the Catholic Bishop of Jalingo Diocese, Most Rev Charles Hamawa and that of Wukari Diocese, Most Rev Mark Nzukwen at the TY Danjuma House Jalingo.

Shortly after holding a closed-door meeting with the Archbishops, 

Governor Agbu Kefas, recognised the vital roles of religious leaders in bridging divides and maintaining harmony, calling on them to invest more in a peace-building enterprise. 

The Governor also acknowledged the importance of partnership in fostering peace and unity, disclosing plans to engage with Christian leaders in the state. 

In his remark, Archbishop Ignatius Kaigama commended Governor Agbu Kefas' efforts in transforming the state.

He disclosed that the Governor had briefed them on various insights and achievements and prayed for more wisdom to lead.

Archbishop Kaigama acknowledged the efforts of the Governor in developing the state and called for more efforts, particularly in the area of security.

He urged religious leaders and residents of the state to continue to support Governor Agbu Kefas.
