Gov Fintiri to Liaise With Adamawa TRC on Reducing Out-of-School Children and Security Problems

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri  has announced his plan for visiting Emirs and Chiefs  to build collaboration in ensuring the issue of out-of-school children and security problems becomes a past narrative in Adamawa State.

The Governor disclosed this when the Council of Emirs and Chiefs, led by the vice chairman and Emir of Mubi, Alhaji Abubakar Isa Ahmadu, paid him a Sallah homage at Government House, Yola, Monday.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri had at the homage thanked Almighty Allah to witness another Eid-el-Fitr that marked the end of Ramadan, noting that this year's Ramadan coincided with the Lenten period by Christians that attracted blessings to Adamawa State.

The Governor encouraged the people to continue with the lessons of Ramadan, which signifies blessings, love, peace, respect for the peace and development of Adamawa State.

Speaking further, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri said he would continue on the trajectory of building that Adamawa deserves.

The Governor also reiterated that his administration's commitment to continue building infrastructural development, improves security in collaboration with the traditional institutions, warning those harbouring criminals to find their way out of the State.

Earlier, the Emir of Mubi, Alhaji Abubakar Isa Ahmadu who led the Emirs and Chiefs to Government House, Yola, congratulated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on the occasion of Eid-El-Fitr celebrations and commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri infrastructure development across the State.
