PDP Governors' Forum Felicitates With Gov. Peter Mbah at 53

The Peoples' Democratic Party Governors’ Forum (PDP-GF) under the Chairmanship of H.E. Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed (CON), the Governor of Bauchi State, on behalf of all the member-Governors, heartily felicitates with H.E Barrister Peter Mbah Ph.D, the Governor of Enugu State, as he turns 53 years old today.

2.  The Forum joins his family, friends, and indeed all Ndi Enugu at home and in the diaspora, to give immense thanks to the Almighty God for his life, protection, good health, and the wisdom to lead Enugu State as Governor.

3.   The Forum is proud to state that the pacesetter spirit of Ndi Enugu known to thrive against the odds has been re-awakened by the Mbah-led administration  through its Midas touch in various sectors of the economy; even as his administration’s smart school system is unleashing the potentials of the generation-next for the competitive global work place driven by critical thinking, innovative solution models and cutting edge technology.

4. Prioritized security of lives and property with the setting up of the Enugu State Security Trust Fund has further strengthened the capacity to fight crime and secure its investment climate, and in the process boost tourism, trade and manufacturing; initiate agriculture value chains with special agro processing zones carved from the state’s land-bank for mechanized crop cultivation and modern ranching, while also ensuring gas for industries, etc.

5.  A rejigged healthcare service system at all levels, aviation upgrade, improved workers' welfare to drive up productivity, functional water supply, waste-to-energy initiative, a repackaged solid mineral sector, as well as the State-LG Joint Venture Project initiative are evidences of fulfilled and result-yielding campaign promises.

6.  The Forum congratulates His Excellency and his entire team on the numerous awards applauding their dedication to the social contract with the people which is fast creating educational and health legacies, tackling poverty and creating entrepreneurial/job opportunities to mitigate economic hardship.

7.  We assure him of our unalloyed support at all times as he oversees the affairs of the state.

A delegation of the National Working Committee, NWC, of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) led by the National Legal Adviser, Barrister Kamaludeen Ajibade, SAN today paid solidarity visit on the Governor of Bauchi State and Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, Senator Bala Mohammed, CON, to felicitate with him on the giant developmental strides recorded by his administration in delivering democracy dividends to the people of the state. 2. The meeting, held at the Plateau State Government House, Little Rayfield, Jos was attended by the principal organs of the party: l NWC, PDP-GF, BOT, NASS Forum, Former Governors Forum, Former Ministers' Forum and other leaders of the party. Rising from the meeting, the organs of the party resolved as follows 1. The Forum notes the concerns of Nigerians, PDP founding fathers, elders and members of our great Party of seeming divisions within the ranks and files.
