The Governor of Taraba State, Dr Agbu Kefas, has officially unveiled the logo for the first-ever Taraba State International Investment Summit 2025, known as TARAVEST. This high-profile event aims to attract foreign investment to the state.

The logo was unveiled on Saturday, 3rd May, at the Executive Chamber of the TY Danjuma House in Jalingo.

The Taraba State International Investment Summit 2025 is scheduled to take place in Jalingo on May 21, 2025, showcasing the state's potential as a viable investment destination.

During the unveiling ceremony, Dr. Agbu Kefas presented the logo to the public and emphasized its significance. He described this moment as a call to action, urging the various committees involved to work diligently to ensure the event's success.

Dr. Kefas noted that since the state's creation, no event has been held specifically to present its vast investment potential to the world—making this summit a landmark occasion. He stated that the logo represents more than just a graphic design; it embodies a collective ambition and illustrates the state's growing prominence.

Furthermore, Dr. Kefas remarked that the logo will serve as the state's banner as it engages with investors, partners, and opinion leaders, signifying the beginning of a new economic era for Taraba State.

The Chairman of the main committee for the event, Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, announced that several sub-committees had been established to facilitate the success of the programme and that relevant contacts with potential investors have been initiated.

The state’s Commissioner for Information and Reorientation, Barr. Zainab Usman provided insights into the composition and meaning behind the logo during the gathering.

The summit will bring together investors and teams of experts from around the world, focusing on the theme "Unlocking Taraba's Investment Potentials: Advancing Agriculture, Energy, Mining, and Industrialization for Sustainable Growth and Development." It is expected to provide opportunities for investors to explore new collaborations and partnerships.
