Governor Agbu Kefas Swears In the Commissioner of Tertiary Education.

The Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has sworn in Dr. Mike Dio Jen as the newly appointed Commissioner for Tertiary Education. Additionally, he presented the Staff of Office to His Royal Highness Alhaji Bello Nuhu Mohammed, the third-class Chief of Sansani.
During the swearing-in ceremony for the new Commissioner, Governor Kefas emphasized that Dr. Jen's appointment was based on merit. He expressed confidence in Dr. Jen's ability to positively impact tertiary education in the state.
The Governor commended Dr. Jen for his bravery in leaving his position as a State Legislator to join the State Executive Council. He reiterated his administration's commitment to placing the right people in the right positions.Speaking to the new Chief of Sansani, Governor Kefas stated that his appointment reflects the decision of the people. He urged the residents of the Chiefdom to support their new Chief to maintain peace in the area. The Governor warned against indiscipline and advised troublemakers to refrain from actions that could disrupt the state's tranquillity, stating that his administration would not tolerate any disturbance.
In a vote of thanks, the Commissioner, Dr. Mike Dio Jen, expressed his gratitude to the Governor for the trust placed in him. He described his appointment as a call to duty and pledged to work in alignment with the Governor's vision for education, striving to improve the state of tertiary education.
Alhaji Bello Nuhu Mohammed, the new Chief of Sansani, also committed to prioritizing peace in his domain above all else.
Godfrey Dame, the Permanent Secretary of the Bureau for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, emphasized that the people of Sansani chose their leader and called for their support for the new Chief.
The oaths of office and allegiance were administered by the State Chief Judge, Justice Joel Filibus Agya.
The ceremony was attended by senior government officials, families, and well-wishers.
