PDP Governors Celebrate the Esteemed Nigerian Workers

The Peoples Democratic Party Governors' Forum, PDP-GF, under the chairmanship of His Excellency, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed CON, and Governor of Bauchi State, and on behalf of the member-Governors, heartily celebrate with all Nigerian workers on this significant occasion of Workers' Day.

3. We recognize the immense struggles you endure daily, navigating an increasingly harsh socio-economic environment. 


4. Despite these obstacles, your commitment to building a better Nigeria is nothing short of heroic. Your strength is a testament to the indomitable spirit of the Nigerian worker. 


5. Your welfare remains sacrosanct to us as demonstrated in the implementation of the agreed minimum wage, among other incentives, across all PDP-controlled states.


6. As we celebrate your achievements and contributions, let us also reflect on the need for continued resilience and unity.Together, we can overcome adversity and forge a path toward a brighter future for ourselves, our families, and generations to come.


7. Though the socio-economic climate may feel unsupportive and the national government may seem distant from the realities of workers' plight, never lose hope. Let us keep the flame of determination alive and demand the change we deserve through solidarity and peaceful advocacy.

Communique Issued at the End of the 2024/7th Meeting of The PDP Governors' Forum At Government House, Jos, Plateau State On Saturday, November 23, 2024

The meeting, held at the Plateau State Government House, Little Rayfield, Jos was attended by the principal organs of the party: l NWC, PDP-GF, BOT, NASS Forum, Former Governors Forum, Former Ministers' Forum and other leaders of the party. Rising from the meeting, the organs of the party resolved as follows 1. The Forum notes the concerns of Nigerians, PDP founding fathers, elders and members of our great Party of seeming divisions within the ranks and files. A delegation of the National Working Committee, NWC, of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) led by the National Legal Adviser, Barrister Kamaludeen Ajibade, SAN today paid solidarity visit on the Governor of Bauchi State and Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, Senator Bala Mohammed, CON, to felicitate with him on the giant developmental strides recorded by his administration in delivering democracy dividends to the people of the state. 2.
