Governor Bala Mohammed Attends FITA Conference in Tunis, Joins Deliberations on Africa's Investment Future

Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of Bauchi State has participated in the Financing Investment and Trade in Africa (FITA) conference held in Tunis, Tunisia.

The high-level event brought together a host of prominent African leaders and stakeholders to explore new avenues for economic integration and investment across the continent. Among the notable delegates were His Royal Highness Khalifah Muhammad Sanusi II, the Emir of Kano, and the Honourable Minister of Women Affairs, Hajia Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim.
Governor Mohammed described his participation as an honour, highlighting the importance of the conversations that took place. “It was a privilege to join other distinguished delegates in engaging in meaningful deliberations on advancing investment opportunities across Africa—at regional, national, and subnational levels—towards a more prosperous and interconnected continent,” he said.
The FITA conference continues to serve as a vital platform for fostering economic partnerships and driving inclusive growth throughout Africa.
