BALA MOHAMMED COMMENDS U.S FOR SUPPORTING NIGERIA IN FIGHTING AGAINST COVID-19

Governor of Bauchi State, Sen. Bala A. Mohammed, has this evening made a phone call with the United States Ambassador to Nigeria, Her Excellency, Ambassador Mary Leonard.

In the conversation, Governor Bala Mohammed commended the United States for her supports and assistance to Nigeria in the ongoing  fight against the COVID-19 in the country.

The Governor intimated Her Excellency, Ambassador Leonard on the State’s interventions and efforts to address gaps and areas of further engagements in fighting the spread of the virus.

Governor Bala Mohammed also commended the efforts of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the United Nation’s Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in the State for their support to States to overcome their challenges.

Ambassador Leonard noted with satisfaction, the exemplary leadership  of Governor Bala Mohammed  and expressed confidence in his administration’s ability to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic in the State.

The ambassador therefore extended a goodwill message to the Governor on behalf of the government and people of the United States.

Governor Fintiri reaffirms prioritization of infrastructure, welfare

 ...inspects ongoing renovation of Courts Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri says his administration is giving priority to infrastructure and welfare improvements across key sectors, including the judiciary, legislature, and civil service, to boost productivity and comfort. He stated this when he inspected the ongoing renovation at the Customary Court and High Court in Yola. The Governor said his administration is determined to provide every sector with the right facilities so that workers can deliver their best. The meeting, held at the Plateau State Government House, Little Rayfield, Jos was attended by the principal organs of the party: l NWC, PDP-GF, BOT, NASS Forum, Former Governors Forum, Former Ministers' Forum and other leaders of the party.
